Nepean Minor Hockey 2017 Competitive Conditioning Sessions

NOVICE/ATOM/MINOR PEEWEE CONDITIONING SESSIONS:

Monday August 14 to Friday August 18 - 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Walter Baker Sports Centre.
COST: SOLD OUT
Description: These sessions will emphasize conditioning through skating and balance drills. Agility and foot speed, as well as puck control, passing and shooting, will be included. A limited time will be allotted for scrimmages. The instructors will be Ruggles Pritchard, National Coaching Certification Instructor and Paul Martin, former professional hockey player and former NMHA Midget coach

MAJOR PEEWEE/BANTAM CONDITIONING SESSIONS:

Saturday Aug. 19 and Sunday Aug. 20 from 1:30pm - 3:30 pm and Monday Aug. 21 to Friday Aug. 25 from 8:00pm - 10:00pm (total 14 hrs) at the Walter Baker Sports Centre.
COST: $360
Description: These sessions will emphasize conditioning through various flow drills that will include passing and shooting. A portion of the sessions will be allotted for scrimmages. The instructors will be Kyle Platt, Minor Bantam AA head coach and Ryan Fraser Major Bantam AA head coach

MIDGET CONDITIONING SESSIONS:

COST: $360 (total 14 hrs)
Description: Emphasis will be placed on conditioning through the use of flow drills. These sessions are intended for players wanting to improve their conditioning and sharpen their skills prior to the start of try-outs. A significant portion of the sessions will be allocated for scrimmages. Lead instructor will be Gord Weatherall NMHA Major Midget AA head coach.
