NMHA Peewee C Destroyers Food Drive

The Peewwee C Destroyers did a food drive in December 2015. The boys did a great job collecting food while being in high spirits. The boys and parents had a fantastic time for a great cause. Even cheered up a few folks and put them in the Christmas mood with some out of tune Christmas carols!

A big thanks to the team and the generosity of the Half-Moon Bay area. The boys did NMHA proud this season and were very courteous to everyone that they spoke to during the evening.

“Hockey Marching as to War” Exhibition at 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa, ON

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is bringing together history buffs and hockey fans, players and parents with its new exhibition Hockey Marching as to War.

On display from October 29, 2015, to January 22, 2016, the exhibition recounts how the First World War impacted hockey players―men and women―and transformed organized hockey during and after the war. Items featured include reproductions of photographs, posters and documents from the collections of LAC and the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF), as well as digital copies of Canadian Expeditionary Force files and the attestation papers of over 25 HHOF inductees.

Come visit the exhibition at 395 Wellington Street in Ottawa, on December 5th and 6th, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Five important trophies from the Hockey Hall of Fame will be on display:

  • Jack Adams Award,
