Nepean Hurricanes (Novice B) B Champions of Bob Black Memorial , Oshawa Ontario

The Nepean Hurricanes travelled to Oshawa the weekend of February 17 to 19, to participate in The Bob Black Memorial Tournament. The Hurricanes started the tournament, in fine form defeating Cumberland 2-0 Friday afternoon. After a loss to the host Durham Crusaders the Hurricanes came out flying defeating Mooretown 12-0. With stellar Goaltending, good defensive play and an exploding offence the Hurricanes breezed through the final with a 7-2 victory over the Caledonia Coyotes.

Alot of firsts were achieved including first goals, first shutout, hat tricks, and first out of town tournament. Congratulations to the Hurricanes who worked hard and had fun all weekend. A big thanks to the parents for their support in the stands.
